The graduation ceremony of Master in Economics, cohort 2016/2017 took place in the Graduate Hall of the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas last July 7th at 7 pm.
The Vice Dean of Research and Postgraduate, Professor José Alberto Castañeda participated in the commencement . He highlighted the wide range of positions reached by alumni from this master, and the excellent curriculum of teachers in terms of research.
The coordinator, Associate professor Juliette Milgram outlined the good results of the master in terms of placement. She thanked them for their involvement in the evaluation process of the master and the new quality control procedures. She also underlined the success of the master in terms of number of students, the maximum reached until now with 54 students:
· 21 students from Master Economía / Economics
· 12 students in 2nd year of Doble Master ICCP-Economics
· 3 students in 2nd year Double Master’s Degree in Economics and International Management (2MEIM)
· 15 students in 1st year Doble Master ICCP-Economics
· 1 student in 1st year del Double Degree Program in Management UGR- INSEEC (France)
· 2 students Erasmus IN
The dean of ICCP, Associate professor Montserrat Zamorano commented how enriching is the experience of the Double degree Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos y Máster Universitario en Economía/Economics.
In a speech on behalf of all students, Alan Luong highlighted how enriching it has been to study a master in English which offers the possibility to live an intercultural and international experience. He stressed the quality and diversity of courses and seminars of the Master.
The godfather of the promotion is Professor Daniel Arias pointed out that the experience of the Master is not only important for the professional content but also for the personal experience they had acquired
The professors gave the traditional orange bands and diplomas prepared by their peers to the 14 students that assisted the event:
Marta Riquelme Medina and Julio Lacorzana Rodriguez pronounced a speech to thank the professors for their support.

Professor Daniel Arias closed the event highlighting the participatory and enjoyable than had been that group. He thanked teachers and particularly the members of the Academic Committee for their work during this course. He congratulated the students and their families. He ended up begging students to continue to participate in the master's activities, in order to improve the degree and to help the next promotions.
