Vladimir
Stantchev is the executive director of the Institute of Information Systems at
SRH Hochschule Berlin, Germany, where he is also a full professor. His major research interests are in
the areas of IT governance, cloud computing architectures, IT strategy, as well as methods for service and
software engineering.
Stantchev is a senior member of the ACM, IEEE (Computer Society, Communication Society, and Standards
Association), member of the University Professors Advisory Board of the German
Informatics Society GI e.V., as well as board member at international
conferences, journals and technology companies.
He is going to teach the seminar of the May 20th tittled as IT Governance & IT security, Implementation Roadmap for healthcare sector. The summary of this seminar is:
"Healthcare
and the life sciences are one of the most challenging application domains for
IT.
He will present an analysis of the legal regulations for cloud computing in
healthcare based on decades-long industrial and academic expertise in
cloud-based data processing for healthcare and life sciences organizations.

organizations govern health data processing and storage."
