Manuel Prados Medina was
born on June 11th, 1962 in Granada.
He
has a bachelor's degree in Psychology and has a Master in Psychology of social
work, psychology of violence, emergencies and disasters.
Currently he is a member of the First
Intervention Team (EPI) in the Tax Agency. Thanks to the AUIP (Iberoamerican
University Postgraduate Association), he is doing a study on psychosocial
factors related to the process of active aging.
He
has also been a teacher, to Tax Agency in courses as "Teamwork"
and "Stress Management Techniques".
In
addition, he has participated in various projects as "Objective
Brain" and in different lectures, some of these are "European
Chemoreception Research Organization", "Consortium Clinical
Neuropsychology (CNC)" and "Association Neuropsychologists
Clinical Center of the National Public System (ANPES)" .
Among
his publications can be found the following scientific articles:
- "Concurrent TAL: aversive processing via capsaicin-sensitive vagal afferent fibers" in Neurobiology of Learning and Memory
- "Psychometric properties of the Spanish version of the scale activism and radicalism intention" in the Journal of Social Psychology.
And finally, just mentioning that next Friday on February 19th, will be at the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales (Universidad de Granada) teaching the seminar "Management teams and emotional intelligence".
