Last figures about employment of the Double Master in Economics and International Management (UGR-SRH Hochschule Berlin) provided by SRH

We are particularly proud of that the reported duration until job placement after program graduation is quite short:

•    Approximately 50% of graduates have a job at the date of the graduation or shortly afterwards. 
•    Within three months the numbers rise to 75% and within a year 100% of our graduates have a job.
•    Half of responding alumni report having an unlimited employment contract
•    68% of responding alumni claimed that their degree was conducive to their hiring
•    Graduates of the program are employed in various industries
•    Graduates earn respectable annual salary ranges on entry into the job market (the majority reports a range between 30,000 € to 50,000 €). Please observe that the responding alumni are working all over the world and that variance in salary ranges (f.e. Nepal in comparison to Germany) might be accordingly diverse.

Objeto de la convocatoria
La Universidad de Granada, de acuerdo a lo estipulado en el convenio de doble diploma entre el Máster Universitario en Economics and International Management (UGR-SRH Hochschule Berlin), convoca 5  plazas para estudiantes de la UGR matriculados en el máster in Economics (UGR).
Los estudiantes seleccionados deberán realizar un periodo de 9 meses de movilidad durante el curso 2015 - 2016, cumpliendo el programa académico establecido en el convenio.  A esta movilidad le será de aplicación el Reglamento de Movilidad Internacional de Estudiantes de la Universidad de Granada. Los estudiantes seleccionados que sean elegibles para ayudas del Programa Erasmus + deberán cumplir las condiciones de estancia y obligaciones en cuanto a la tramitación de la documentación, especificadas en la convocatoria Erasmus +: Erasmus de movilidad internacional de estudiantes de posgrado, Másteres Oficiales del Curso académico 2014/2015.
Los estudiantes que no puedan optar a las ayudas Erasmus + podrán obtener una ayuda de carácter supletorio a través del Plan Propio de Internalización.
Requisitos
Estar matriculado en el Máster Universitario Economics durante el curso académico 2014 - 2015
Acreditar un nivel B2 de Inglés según el Marco Común Europeo de Referencia para las Lenguas. Es requisito que si el alumno no dispone del nivel B2, se admitirá con el compromiso expreso de obtención de dicho nivel B2 con un plazo máximo de 30 de mayo de 2015. 
Los alumnos seleccionados deberán permanecer matriculados en el mencionado Máster Universitario de la UGR durante el periodo completo de la realización de la estancia.
Criterios de selección 
Nota media de la titulación de acceso al máster de acuerdo con los datos de DUA (hasta 10 puntos)
Competencia en lengua alemana acreditada igual o superior a B1, asignándose la siguiente puntuación: B1 – 0,5 puntos; B2 –1 puntos; C1 - 1,5 puntos; C2 – 2 puntos.

Solicitudes
Las solicitudes en el formulario especifico (ver Anexo a esta convocatoria) se presentarán en el Registro de la Escuela Internacional de Posgrado o en cualquiera de los Registros habilitados por la Universidad de Granada. 
El plazo de presentación de solicitudes será  desde hoy hasta el 18 de Diciembre
Las solicitudes se acompañarán de la siguiente documentación:
una copia del documento de identidad del solicitante;
en su caso, una copia del expediente de la titulación de máster;

Resolución

CROSS-CULTURAL MANAGEMENT Seminar by Luís Toro Dupouy

On December 5th at 9,30 at D011 will take place the Seminar CROSS-CULTURAL MANAGEMENTThis seminar is designed to develop global business leaders. As such, the seminar intends to develop global leadership competencies. Independent and creative thinking is encouraged and every attempt is made to foster it. We will cover the main management issues corporations face when doing business internationally. Topics include current international business environment, cultural dimensions of international management, communication and leadership in the global context, and cultural impacts and tips on doing business globally. This course is oriented around competency application as well as case and analytical methods of instruction and learning.

Call for selecting students for the program of International Double Master Programme in Economics and International Management (SRH Hochschule Berlin-UGR),

Course 2014 - 2016

Purpose of the call

The University of Granada, according to the terms of the agreement between the double degree Master in Economics and International Management (UGR-SRH Hochschule Berlin), calls 5 places for students enrolled in the UGR Master in Economics (UGR) .

Selected students must undergo a period of 10 months during the course mobility from 2015 to 2016, fulfilling the academic program established in the agreement. In this mobility will be applicable Regulations International Mobility of Students of the University of Granada.

Requirements

·         Be enrolled in the Master Economics during the academic year 2014 - 2015

·         Credit a B2 level of English or higher according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages

·         Selected students must remain enrolled in the Master's Degree mentioned UGR during the entire period of the completion of stay.

Selection Criteria

·         Average rating of the degree of access to the master according to data from the SAD (up to 10 points)

·         Proficiency in English language accredited or above B2 ... numbered as follows: B2 -1 point; C1 -1.5 points; C2 - 2 points.

·         Proficiency accredited German B1 or above, and numbered as follows: B1 - 0.5 points; B2 -1 points; C1 - 1.5 points; C2 - 2 points.

Applications

Applications in the specified form (see Appendix to this announcement) will be presented at the Registry of the International Graduate School or in any of the records authorized by the University of Granada.

The deadline for submitting applications is from 1 to 20 November

Applications shall be accompanied by the following documentation:

- Where appropriate, a copy of the record of the master's degree;

- A copy of the official certificate stating the alleged level of proficiency

Una alumna de la UGR galardonada como "Valedictorian" (mejor expediente) en Berlín dentro del Doble Master in Economics and International Management (UGR-SRH Berlin)

Nota de prensa:

Karolina Zbroja de nacionalidad polaca y alumna de la UGR ha sido galardonada como "Valedictorian" en la graduación celebrada en Berlín a finales de septiembre del Doble Master in Economics and International Management (UGR-SRH Berlin). En esta primera promoción de más de 60 estudiantes se han graduado 4 alumnos de la UGR. Todos ellos han fijado en la actualidad su residencia en Alemania donde desarrollan su actividad profesional en distintas multinacionales alemanas y norteamericanas. Este hecho sitúa el nivel de desempleo de este Máster en el 0%. 

El Doble Master in Economics and International Management (UGR-SRH Berlin) es el único que se imparte íntegramente en inglés en la Universidad de Granada y en la SRH Hochschule de la capital alemana. Actualmente 4 alumnos más de la UGR se encuentran en Berlín cursando el doble Master en un entorno con alumnos de más de 25 nacionalidades distintas en lo que será la segunda promoción que se graduará en 2015.

Dr Sara Calvo is the co-founder of Living in Minca Ltd, a social enterprise based in London, and she is currently working as a lecturer at the Leadership, Work and Organisations Department at Middlesex University where she teaches on social enterprise, leadership and management, organisational behavior and qualitative research. Beside this, she is an educator, trainer and a certified social enterprise advisor having completed a PhD on the social economy and ethnic minorities in the United Kingdom. Sara has provided consultancy services for a wide range of social enterprises in Europe, Latin America and Africa as well as she has published articles in academic journals on research related to social enterprises and the social and solidarity economy in developed and less developed countries.

Mujeres emprendedoras: Más allá de los tópicos

El Master in Economics de la Universidad de Granada organiza los viernes por la tarde del mes de febrero las Jornadas "Mujeres emprendedoras: Más allá de los tópicos" que engloba los siguientes seminarios (libres hasta completar aforo, con preferencia para los alumnos del Master in Economics):

• “Como emprender en tiempos revueltos o como encontrar 3 oportunidades de negocio en 3 problemas”por María Barranco el próximo 7 de febrero a las 6 de la tarde en el Salón de Grados de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales (UGR).

• "Emprendedores culturales en la industria creativa: De la tradición a la Innovación" por Soraya Gómez  el día 14 de febrero a las 5 y media de la tarde en el Salón de Grados de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales (UGR)

Soraya Gómez es Emprendedora y Gestora Cultural y Productora de Espectáculos

Fundadora de Sitayag,S.L.U., Empresa de Consultoria, Promoción y Gestión de Eventos y Espectáculos.

Si hay un rasgo que defina su trayectoria ese sería el de INCONFORMISMO.

Su carrera profesional tiene una dilatada trayectoria como coreografa y profesora de danza española desde hace mas de 10 años. Se forma como bailaora originalmente junto a Maestros de la talla de D. Juan José Linares y Dña. Quety Clavijo, pasando por Merche Esmeralda y Maria Magdalena.

• "Herramientas y aplicaciones web básicas para fomentar el desarrollo de proyectos de innovación social" por María González Reyes el día 21 de febrero a las 16,30 de la tarde en el Salón de Grados de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales (UGR)

María González Reyes es actualmente Dinamizadora del Centro Guadalinfo de Albolote, en Granada y trabajando en la mentorización de proyectos de innovación social, emprendedores, cultura emprendedora, orientación, estímulo y formación en aplicaciones y herramientas web que faciliten la gestión y dinamización de proyectos.

Entusiasta de la filosofía del software libre, licenciada en Pedagogía y apasionada por la enseñanza, adaptación de materiales, motivación e investigación de recursos TICs que faciliten y guíen las adaptaciones de los métodos de enseñanza. 

Seminar of Prof. Ville-Pekka Mäkeläinen

Prof. Ville-Pekka Mäkeläinen from Seinäjoki University, Finland will be teaching a Seminar on Business to Business Marketing February, 10th at 16,30 (Salón de Grados, Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales, Universidad de Granada).


Professor Mäkeläinen is a Professor of International Marketing at Seinäjoki University of Applied Science in Finland. He has a Lic. Tech. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Lappeenranta University of Technology. In addition to his work at Seinäjoki University, he also teaches at California Polytechnic State University and other universities in Europe as a visiting professor in international marketing. Professor Mäkeläinen is fluent in Finnish, English, German, Spanish and Swedish. He teaches business-to-business marketing at UMSL.
